Reverend Beat-Man is a One-Man Band started his career in 1986 in Bern Switzerland with his band „The Monsters“, then founded „Lightning Beat-Man One Man Band“ and changed his name to „Reverend Beat-Man“ in 1999, he tours around the world like a madman, won several prizes for his work and was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize in 2014. Played Theatre and acted in Movies (all low budged and underground) he’s the founder of Voodoo Rhythm Records, His music has its roots in the beginnings of blues and rock’n’roll, but with a NOW! Touch but Totaly TRASHED UP !! His live shows are not concerts they are a Experiance or a very loud Obscure Performance, people say it’s a nuclear blast on stage – the purest rock’n’roll in Switzerland, wild and out of control. Songs like “Jesus Christ Twist”, “i have enough” or “Don’t Stop To Dance” have been released in 6 albums over the years.

His parents had Magical sex in 1967 and let him see the light of life 9 months later as Beat Man Zeller (his real name) in beautiful idyllic Heidi Switzerland near the Toblerone chocolate factory in Bern. He had loitered through the schools to crown this as the completion of an apprenticeship as an electrician.
Beat Man Zeller had already made his first sound recordings under the name Taeb Zerfall at the age of 13, in 1986 he founded the still active The Monsters with his buddies, he was then hired as a comic artist by various magazines and made his fictional character Beat- Man to his trademark, in 1992 he had his first solo appearance as Lightning Beat-Man as a one-man band the wrestling rock’n’roll show, which was mainly about self-destruction, in 1999 he tragically died at the height of his career to be reborn as a Reverend Beat- Man.

He is a cultural creator in his hometown Bern in Switzerland, where he won a recognition award from the city in 2007 and was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize in 2014 for his national and international cultural work. In 2002 (EXPO) he worked as a musician at the world exhibition in Switzerland, 1998 he had a spot at VIVA (MTV) with a video documentary series about rock’n’roll in the USA and Europe, in 1992 he founded his record label Voodoo Rhythm Records where he released everything that was different in style than the other Labels around, and in his record store (the Voodoo Rhythm Hardware Store) he books shows for local and international small acts.
By himself he plays up to 200 shows a year all over the world in different formations and creates his own musical styles, blues trash, primitive rock’n’roll, cunt-ry Gospel Trash etc. he has big and many fans (approx. 4m tall) and reverend beat man’s live shows are unique and always different. It is like a reality theatre, uncompromisingly Dadaistically combined with the raw power of rock’n’roll and traditional elements of blues and folk. He sings and screams, plays guitar and drums and everything at the same time
ha got reviewd in Vive Le Rock, Spex, Mojo 4 music, Visions OX etc Airplays in large and especially small radio shows and stations worldwide, and even in Iggy Pop’s program on BBC 6 in England. He plays small and large festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Rock les Eurockeennes, Muddy Roots, Buenos Aires Stomp, Festival Beat, Generic Festival in France, Bad Bonn Kilbi and shows all over the world, Europe from east to west from north to south, USA, South America, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Africa etc.
